Red 16 Bar Type 2 PU Coated Layflat Fire Hose Assembly 

Type 2 features a high-tensile 2-ply polyester outer cover which has a special abrasion resistant red synthetic coating which offer excellent resistance against heat, oil and chemical attack.

The liner on Type 2 is high grade 0.8mm EPDM rubber which is very smooth with minimum pressure drop. It is extremely flexible at temperatures as low as -40°C , is suitable for hot water > +80°C and has excellent resistance to sea water and many chemicals.

Factory fitted with wire bound Light Alloy BS336 Instantaneous male & female couplings

Standard length is 20m – available in different lengths and colours > 100m

Applications – ideal as a passive fire protection product in large buildings, Offshore Oil & Gas, Refineries, Petrochemical plants, tunnelling projects, military and fire brigades. Also suitable for transferring large volumes of water on any site.
