Type 3 fire hose is Fire Brigade quality hose.

Type 3 features a high-tensile polyester/ polyamide outer cover which is completely encapsulated in a special NBR/PVC rubber compound which offer excellent resistance against abrasion, ozone, UV, heat, oil and chemical attack.

The liner on Type 3 is high grade NBR/PVC rubber which is very smooth with minimum pressure drop. It is extremely flexible at temperatures as low as -40°C , is suitable for hot water > +80°C and has excellent resistance to sea water and many chemicals.

Factory fitted with wire bound Light Alloy BS336 Instantaneous male & female couplings

Standard length is 20m – available in different lengths and colours > 100m

Applications – ideal as a passive fire protection product in large buildings, Offshore Oil & Gas, Refineries, Petrochemical plants, tunnelling projects, military and fire brigades. Also suitable for transferring large volumes of water on any site.

 Type 3 is an alternative to products such as Duraline.
