Hilcoflex

Hilcoflex is a very durable high pressure layflat hose. Not to be confused with PVC layflat, Hilcoflex is a heavy duty rubberized layflat manufactured using a high grade NBR/PVC compound which fully encapsulates the high tensile polyester reinforcement.

The rubber construction offers exceptional resistance to external abrasion but at the same time offers a very smooth inner bore which offers optimum flow and minimises pressure drop,

Hilcoflex has excellent resistance to UV and ozone and is suitable for the most demanding water delivery applications with maximum working pressures > 36bar ( 20mm dia).

Hilcoflex is resistant to oil, hydrocarbons and chemicals in certain applications. Always consult the CH&C team with details.

Compared to traditional straight lengths of rubber( wire armoured) LDPE ( Polypipe) or Galvanized pipe , Hilcoflex offers significant savings in labour as it can supplied in coil lengths up to 100m thus eliminating joining couplings or bolting multiple flanges together when deploying or removing from site.
