Kronos FRAS 20bar Liquid Mud Suction & Discharge Hose

Kronos is described as a FRAS (Flame Retardant Anti-Static) heavy duty suction and discharge hose.

Originally designed for high pressure (20bar) liquid mud applications in the Offshore oil & gas market. Kronos is widely used in sensitive environments where flame retardancy is essential and static build up cannot be tolerated e.g. tunnelling & mining.

Kronos is exceptionally tough with an abrasive and oil resistant NBR liner supported by a twin steel wire helix for flexibility and strength.

The cover is a special fire-retardant neoprene compound tested to ISO-8030: 2014 Flammability of Hoses standards.

Both liner and cover are a conductive compound for static dissipation.

We strongly recommend that Kronos is supplied as a factory manufactured assembly due to the heavy construction and high working pressure.

Supplied in coil lengths of 30m and 61m dependent on bore size.
